Academies

Our vision is that our academies serve as the hallmark of best practices.

Basic education

We provide access to education primarily through the building of educational facilities in marginalized regions and populations and transform schools into child-friendly learning environments with teaching and learning materials. We currently operate an education center in Rwanda.

Adults education

We provide short-term, practical and purposeful classes that can be applied to gain and improve employment. We offer 12-week certificate courses in English language, business, modern farming techniques, computer literacy, and health industry. And we are committed to connect our students with employment opportunities and career assistance such as interview and resume preparation. We connect entrepreneurs, educators, and researchers to support and advance the development of the communities we serve.

Our curricular structure is based on SIX pillars, each contributing to the students’ academic, social, and emotional development

Dynamic Learning

Powerful learning is a set of academic and social-emotional activities that are centered on Service and Continuous Improvement; Maximizing Developmental Stage; Artistic Expression; Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic; Teacher and Staff training and Research based Learning

Multiple Language of Instruction

Students receive daily language lessons in English and French. The main language of instruction is English. Fluency in other languages is critical for providing students with a solid foundation in world culture and becoming productive members of local, national and global communities.

Continuous improvement model

Students are monitored and evaluated on regular intervals to observe their growth paths and inform school personnel on how to better serve student needs.

Support Services

Students have access to various health and socio-emotional resources to address their needs and the needs of their families.

Information Technology integration

Students apply technological aids to enhance the educational underpinnings of learning, comprehension and retention. Students are provided opportunities to learn computer programming.

Christian Centered learning

Incorporation of biblical principles throughout lesson plans and across academic subjects and these lessons serve both to teach biblical principles and Christian discipleship.

Our curriculum philosophy is centered on six components and each component is linked and based on the idea that a functioning educational environment is one in which all of its parts—students, parents, teachers, and administration—work together toward the common goal of a conducive learning environment for all children.

Service and Continuous Improvement

We seek to scaffold child’s intellectual development by providing service and continuous improvement. By constantly reviewing what and how we work with parent, and students and focusing not only on curriculum but also on the holistic development of child.

Maximizing Developmental Stages

We are committed to a curriculum designed around the developmental needs of our children. Age appropriate curriculum allows children to develop at their own pace and give teachers the opportunity to tailor children’s educational experiences.

Artistic Expression

The arts provide an opportunity for children to Engage in authentic, relevant problems, projects, and experiences that develop career awareness and readiness

R³ is Fundamental

While creative and critical thinking are desired of our children, the development of reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are the foundation of children’s educational experiences.

Teacher and Staff’s trainings
